Suzuki e-Access 2025: The electric two-wheeler market in India is growing rapidly, and Suzuki has officially stepped into this space with the all-new Suzuki e-Access. Based on the popular Suzuki Access 125, the e-Access brings an eco-friendly alternative to traditional scooters. It blends performance, style, and utility in an electric package designed for everyday use.
With competitive specs and smart features, the Suzuki e-Access is expected to attract city riders looking for a cleaner, more efficient mode of transport.
Elegant and Familiar Design
The Suzuki e-Access carries forward the familiar silhouette of the Access 125 but adds modern electric design elements. It features a full LED headlamp, vertical DRL, and sleek dual-tone body panels. The styling is clean yet premium, appealing to both younger and older commuters.
With a seat height of 765 mm and a kerb weight of around 122 kg, the e-Access is accessible and stable for riders of all sizes. The wide, comfortable seat ensures an easy ride even on longer city trips.
Powerful and Safe Electric Battery
At the core of the e-Access is a 3.07 kWh Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP) battery, known for its high safety and long cycle life. This type of battery resists overheating and maintains stable performance in Indian conditions. It delivers a consistent and reliable ride over time.
The LFP battery is housed securely beneath the seat, protected from dust and water. It is designed to meet the everyday needs of city riders who require a balance between range, durability, and charging convenience.
Smooth Electric Motor Performance
The scooter is powered by a 4.1 kW motor that delivers 15 Nm of torque. This offers a smooth, refined riding experience suitable for stop-and-go urban traffic. The instant torque provides quick acceleration, while the quiet motor enhances comfort.
The top speed of the e-Access is capped at 71 km/h, which is perfect for city roads. The scooter offers fast and silent acceleration without compromising energy efficiency, making it ideal for daily commutes.
Decent Range for Daily Use
Suzuki has optimized the e-Access for city riding with a real-world range of up to 95 kilometers on a full charge. This makes it suitable for most daily commutes, errands, and office rides without worrying about frequent recharging.
The battery performance is certified under ARAI testing standards. For an average city rider covering 30–40 kilometers daily, a full charge should easily last two to three days, adding convenience and reliability.
Dual Charging Options
Charging the e-Access is simple and flexible. It supports both standard AC charging and faster DC charging. With an AC charger, the battery reaches 80% in about 4.5 hours and 100% in around 6 to 6.5 hours. This is ideal for overnight charging at home.
For quicker needs, DC fast charging allows the scooter to reach 80% in approximately 72 minutes. Fast charging will be available at select Suzuki dealerships, reducing downtime and increasing practicality for busy users.
Riding Modes and Controls
The e-Access comes with three riding modes: Eco, Ride A, and Ride B. Eco mode prioritizes battery life with reduced top speed, while Ride A offers stronger regenerative braking. Ride B balances speed and comfort with milder regen braking.
This choice allows riders to adapt the scooter’s performance based on traffic conditions and personal preferences. The modes improve range, control, and comfort for different riding needs throughout the day.
Advanced Smart Features
Suzuki has equipped the e-Access with a 5-inch full-color TFT display that offers essential ride data, including speed, battery level, and trip information. The console also supports smartphone connectivity for navigation and call alerts.
Other smart features include keyless ignition, a reverse mode, side-stand alert, and an anti-tip safety system that cuts motor power when the scooter falls. These features add safety, ease of use, and a premium experience for riders.
Comfortable and Safe Ride
The suspension setup includes telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, ensuring a smooth ride over city potholes and speed breakers. The scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels for better road grip and control.
Braking is handled by a 190 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum brake setup. Combined with CBS or ABS (depending on variant), it ensures stable braking performance and rider safety in traffic conditions.
Practical Storage and Utility
The Suzuki e-Access includes a decent under-seat storage compartment for a helmet or small bags. A USB charging port and utility hook make it more convenient for daily errands and travel.
Additional features include a center stand and side stand, which help during parking. The scooter is designed to be functional as well as stylish, offering both form and utility for everyday users.
Price and Launch Expectations
The expected price of the Suzuki e-Access is between ₹1.00 lakh and ₹1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). This places it competitively against other electric scooters like the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and Ather Rizta.
Suzuki has begun production and plans to launch the e-Access across major Indian cities by mid-2025. Charging infrastructure and after-sales service will be backed by Suzuki’s strong dealership network.
