The Tata Sierra EV is scheduled to be launched in late 2025, likely around August or September. A production-ready version was already showcased at major auto expos, including the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Tata Motors is expected to manufacture this model at its existing electric vehicle production facilities, and production volumes will be based on demand forecasts and battery supply chains.

The Sierra will be offered first as a pure EV, and later a petrol/diesel internal combustion engine (ICE) version may be introduced depending on market needs. This dual strategy is designed to capture a wider customer base, while keeping focus on electric mobility.
